Performance

The 2016 Nissan Sentra’s 1.8-liter Dual Overhead Cam 4-cylinder engine is surprisingly powerful while providing superior fuel efficiency. It puts out 130 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 128 lb-ft of torque @ 3,600 rpm. Sentra offers a 6-speed manual transmission or Xtronic CVT (Continuoously Variable Transmission). The FE + S trim package, which adds rear spoilers, aero deflectors and low rolling resistance tires, provides a superior 40 mpg on the highway and 30 mpg in the city, while the base S trim offers a still-impressive 36 mpg on the highway and 27 mpg in the city.
