Experienced Automotive Technician

Experienced Automotive Technician opening between Daytona Beach and Orlando Florida
We are a locally owned dealership with a great reputation and stable management. We are a very busy shop with a state of the art AIR CONDITIONED facility in need of a quality technician with a focus on customer satisfaction and long relationships.

Experienced Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanics Responsibilities:

  • Able to diagnose and repair Nissan automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, etc
  • Completes service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correct, to pass quality inspections set forth by dealership and Nissan's quality standards
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate directly with service advisors and foreman regarding the status of the service work
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques

Service Writer

Summary of Job Duties: The Service Advisor is responsible for coordinating repairs of customer vehicles. Our advisors communicate with customers regarding repairs, estimates, and warranty information. This includes:

  • Create & document service appointments
  • Advise customer of recommended repairs
  • Open, manage, & close repair orders
  • Produce written estimate for customer
  • Dispatch repair orders

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate (College Preferred)
  • Experience in the automotive services industry required
  • Sales and/or customer service experience required (with supporting documentation)
  • Reynolds experience preferred
  • Must have clean driving record and background

Lube Technician

We are looking to hire a highly-skilled lube technician to maintain and service customers' vehicles. The lube technician’s responsibilities include preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries, and changing motor oil as well as transmission and brake fluid as needed. You should also be able to keep vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks.

To be successful as a lube technician, you should have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices. Ultimately, an outstanding lube technician should be able to communicate effectively with customers and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

Lube Technician Responsibilities:

  • Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
  • Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
  • Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
  • Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
  • Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
  • Thoroughly inspecting customers’ vehicles for oil leaks.
  • Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
  • Notifying the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within scheduled timeframes.

Lube Technician Requirements:

  • Completion of a postsecondary education lube technician program.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Receptionist/Cashier

We are looking for an efficient, courteous cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills. The cashier will accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers regarding products, promotions, or location. You will also respond to complaints, process refunds or exchanges of items, and maintain a clean workspace.

To succeed as a cashier, you should have a strong work ethic and high level of accuracy. You should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing excellent service.

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.
  • Receive and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments and staff.
  • Operating, Credit card processors, cash registers, and other electronics.
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
  • Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
  • Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
  • Following all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items.
  • Maintaining a clean workspace.

Cashier Requirements:

Car Detailer

We are looking for a thorough, responsible car detailer who will adhere to provide quality automotive cleaning services to our customers. The Car Detailer will clean vehicles according to company standards or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors, and keeping records related to gas levels and the condition of the vehicle. You should possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles.

To be a successful car detailer, you should be committed to providing excellent service to customers. You should be courteous, responsible, and detail-oriented.

Car Detailer Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.
  • Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
  • Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
  • Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
  • Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed.
  • Managing inventory and reordering supplies.
  • Responding to client inquiries and fulfilling their requests.

Car Detailer Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Prior detailing experience may be preferred.
  • Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist must accurately answer questions and fulfill customer requirements in person or on the phone. He/she locates automotive parts within the current inventory or from other sources (such as the internet, vendors, other dealerships, etc.) and arranges for delivery and installation.

To be a successful car detailer, you should be committed to providing excellent service to customers. You should be courteous, responsible, and detail-oriented.

Parts Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Locates accessories or parts and arranges for installation
  • Assist Technicians, Wholesale Vendors and Retail Cutomers with quotes and orders
  • Monitors parts inventory and maintains storage area in good condition
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, and promotions
  • Maintains accurate sales documentation.
  • Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Parts Specialist Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Reynolds experience preferred.
  • Previous dealership experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the industry
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
